PbSocial Network Login/Join: /b /p pThe Account Representative serves as the primary contact between Ansys and customers in an assigned territory or set of accounts or product/service line. The role involves maintaining existing customer accounts and creating new ones. A successful Account Representative maximizes sales profitability, growth, and account penetration. /p pbKey Duties and Responsibilities /b /p ol liPerform sales activities, establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to ensure renewal business and generate new business within an assigned geographic area, set of accounts, or product line, aiming to meet or exceed revenue targets. /li liSell products/services through telephone and face-to-face interactions. /li liIdentify customer pain points, negative consequences, and desired positive outcomes to determine the best solutions. Clearly communicate the value of company’s products/services using metrics and proof points, aligning with customer needs and differentiating from competitors. /li liCreate and maintain account plans for existing customers, highlighting profile, share, and value opportunities. /li liResearch sources to develop prospective customers or expand within existing customer groups, gathering information to assess potential. /li liDevelop clear, effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers. /li liCoordinate sales efforts with marketing, account teams, sales management, accounting, legal, and technical services groups. /li liProvide accurate forecasts for new sales and renewal revenues. /li liParticipate in trade shows and conventions; schedule training and seminars to generate new business opportunities. /li /ol pbMinimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience /b /p ol liBachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, business, or related field with 1+ years of proven success in technical sales OR 5+ years of demonstrated success in technical sales. /li liUnderstanding of engineering analysis and technology. /li liExcellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently. /li liWillingness to travel up to 50%. /li liFluent in English and Italian. /li /ol pbPreferred Qualifications and Skills /b /p ol liKnowledge of company’s products/services and pricing practices. /li liFamiliarity with the specific territory, product line, or customer base. /li /ol pbAdditional Notes /b /p pIf you are not a passport holder of the country for the vacancy, a work permit may be required.
