Responsibilities:
1. · Develop and implement local procurement strategies aligned with global CLF objectives.
· Lead the sourcing, negotiation, and contracting processes for local suppliers.
· Conduct continuous supplier scouting to identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors that meet quality, cost, and sustainability standards.
· Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and innovation targets are met.
· Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., SCM, Finance, R&D) to understand needs and ensure procurement supports business goals.
· Local implementation of processes, standards and tools set by global CLF.
· Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
· Lead, coach, and develop the local procurement team to build capabilities and drive performance.
· Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance.
· Support risk management initiatives by identifying and mitigating supply chain risks.
Qualifications:
2. · Master’s or bachelor’s degree in economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement roles, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
· In-depth knowledge of commodity market dynamics.
· Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
· Analytical mindset and proficiency in tools such as Excel and ERP systems (SAP).
· Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
· Results-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player.· Solid understanding of supply chain principles and how procurement integrates within the broader supply chain strategy.
3. · Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
· Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Knowledge of local market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
