Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated young technician to join our Electric Motor Test Laboratory.
The selected candidate will support testing and characterization activities on electric motors and drive systems within the Engineering department. The role is strongly hands-on and laboratory-oriented.
A structured on-the-job training program will be provided. The candidate will progressively develop autonomy in test bench setup, use of professional measurement instruments, wiring activities and motor inspection tasks.
This position is ideal for an ITS graduate or technical high school diploma holder who enjoys practical work and wants to build a solid technical career in the electromechanical field.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Support laboratory testing activities on electric motors
2. Assist in performance characterization and validation tests
3. Use electrical measurement instruments (oscilloscope, power analyzer, insulation tester, milliohmmeter, etc.)
4. Support test bench setup and basic wiring activities for motor drives
5. Read and follow electrical schematics
6. Assist in motor disassembly and technical inspection activities
7. Use basic mechanical measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
8. Collect, organize and document test data
9. Contribute to maintaining laboratory equipment and safety standards

Education and Qualifications
High School/ITS Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related technical fields

22. Laboratory projects, internships or experimental thesis work are considered a plus
