Base Maintenance Group Supervisor Mechanical / Electrical

We are currently seeking Base Maintenance Group Supervisors (BMG) for our Maintenance department.
Job Category: The Base Maintenance Group role is a Technical Leader position.
Location: Several facilities in USA and Canada. We are looking for candidates willing to relocate to the USA or Canada. Selected candidates will undergo training in Italy (TenarisDalmine) for approximately 1 year. After training, they will be relocated to the USA or Canada.
Education / Experience / Skills:
* A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree is appreciated, preferably with previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
* English language proficiency: at least B2 level (intermediate) in the Global Scale of English (GSE).
* Previous experience in Maintenance is appreciated.
* Ability to work flexible hours as per mill requirements.
* Safety and quality-oriented with strong follow-up and analytical skills.
* Interpersonal skills to work effectively with hourly employees and management.
Purpose:
Develops and supervises the Preventive Maintenance plan. Ensures systematic failure analysis and performance assessment of equipment, defines corrective actions, and identifies improvement opportunities. Supports engineering in researching and assessing the best equipment and in the startup of new equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Optimizes reliability and maintainability of equipment by defining maintenance strategies, developing and supervising preventive maintenance plans, analyzing failure and performance data, and providing technical support during emergencies.
* Performs and oversees inspections within their area of responsibility.
* Ensures technical resources are available, maintaining suitable stock levels.
* Supports engineering in equipment assessment and startup of new equipment, and assists other areas related to their responsibilities.
* Prepares maintenance cost budgets and ensures costs stay within limits.
* Ensures adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. Reports incidents, participates in inspections and investigations, and implements preventive and corrective actions. Maintains updated risk and environmental assessments.
* Participates in developing maintenance information systems and uses data to support decision-making.
* Contributes to maintenance programs aimed at minimizing energy use.
* Analyzes complex topics and recommends actions.
* Interacts autonomously with internal and external contacts.
* Ensures compliance with Tenaris policies, procedures, standards, laws, and regulations.
* Motivates, coaches, communicates with, and develops staff. Manages HR activities according to HR norms and procedures. Protects facilities, equipment, and resources from damage, theft, or misuse.
