IT Manager Sintersud will ensure IT operations run smoothly and achieve IT budget targets for Hyperion Sintersud location. Able to perform efficiently in a high-pressure environment and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Have a good working relationship with local leadership, Global IT organization, key business stakeholders and end users in Sintersud Site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Support Global IT Services within Hyperion focus by: Operating within the core values and operating principals of the organization, provides real-time technical support and analysis for internal and external business users.
* Ensuring the smooth running of the IT operations in the field, including user support, IT systems, domain services, communications, and connectivity.
* Proactively works with all roles on the team to provide support as needed to ensure timely resolution of issues.
* Solves complex problems; takes broad perspective to identify potential solutions.
* Maintains a high level of knowledge and expertise relative to products, systems, programs, and business processes.
* Identifying and addressing user problems, performs follow-up with users to guide and implement recommended solutions.
* Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Work Experience:
* Degree preferred in a computer systems related field.
* Computer related certifications such as A+, MCP, or similar a plus.
* Degree in a relevant field or who has gained equivalent knowledge from previous experience within the fields of IT Support.
* Previous work with IT service delivery, preferably in a global service desk setting, is considered an advantage.
* Travel may be required at times to remote offices.
* Ability to be on call and work weekends when necessary.
Technical Skills:
* Excellent written and verbal communication of technical concepts.
* Personality characterized by strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple tasks towards an agreed target.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Maintain knowledge on current and new applicable technologies.
* Advanced knowledge of Windows PC/Server operating systems.
* Ability to install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware workstations, peripherals, printers, scanners, copiers, iPhones, and iPads.
* Ability to lift PCs, Servers, etc. as necessary.
* Ability to work with technical and non-technical users.
* Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot industrial IT equipment.
* Experience with Italian Industry 4.0 audits is preferred.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint preferred.
* Knowledge of M3, SQL Server is preferred.
* Knowledge of Antivirus support, backup and recovery is preferred.
