About the Role
We are looking for a talented candidate to join our Technical R&D Kinder Department as a Product Technical Performance Manager. In this role you will work on product development and implementation of new products, as well as defining industrial processes for Kinder products across the world.
Main Responsibilities
* Plan, organize and perform the necessary trials and experiments to deliver product and process development projects that meet defined requirements.
* Create and take ownership of the industrial recipes for the products under your responsibility.
* Provide support on project implementation from concept, industrialisation to product launch.
* Leverage product and process expertise on Kinder products that could be made with wafer, creams and different ingredients via lab trials, scale‑up trials, factory and supplier trials and taste trials.
* Identify new ingredients suitable for Kinder molded products and develop new recipes according to Kinder guidelines, ensuring optimum organoleptic characteristics of new Kinder products throughout shelf‑life.
* Define key technological parameters to produce new Kinder products, continuously improving existing manufacturing processes through LEAN & AGILE methods.
* Work in strict cooperation with the Kinder laboratory and Project Team, serving as the point of reference for Marketing, Engineering, Plants technologists, Quality Dpt, R&D raw material and Packaging.
About You
* Master’s Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, or Biology.
* Experience in a multinational food company, ideally in R&D, quality or technical positions. Experience in chocolate moulding, cereals and wafer baking is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of Chemical, Microbiological, Sensory and Nutritional Analysis, as well as industrial processes.
* Available for frequent travel in Italy and abroad; fluent in English; comfortable using digital tools; familiar with statistics and multivariate analysis.
* Experience in product development and strong teamwork, creativity, and problem‑solving skills.
