Job Responsibilities
The Marketing - Indirect Purchasing Buyer will be responsible for optimizing the HQ portfolio of Indirect sourcing categories, focusing on Marketing expenses such as agencies, media, production & post production, usage rights, events, ecommerce, consultancies, POS, in-store promotions, and influencers. Responsibilities include developing category strategies, identifying cost-saving opportunities, leading sourcing projects, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining supplier relationships.
The candidate must demonstrate effective collaboration internally and externally, a strong focus on success, commitment to developing the growing group’s indirect purchasing department, continuous improvement, and a relentless drive to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Implement prioritized initiatives in coordination with Group stakeholders.
2. Identify business needs and opportunities to consolidate categories, collaborating across functions.
3. Ensure a smooth, lean procurement process mainly in marketing, managing change in line with policies and objectives.
4. Set procurement strategies aligned with business unit expectations and company strategic pillars.
5. Support the implementation of best practices and benchmarks.
6. Achieve savings targets for managed categories and report results periodically.
7. Deliver on total cost of ownership (TCO) expectations.
8. Serve as a contact for suppliers and internal customers, and handle escalations.
9. Promote long-term savings without compromising supply assurance or quality.
10. Negotiate local and global contracts, consolidating spend, e-catalogues, and price lists.
Job Profile
Qualifications, Knowledge
* Bachelor/Master Degree in Business Administration, preferably with a marketing focus.
* At least 3-5 years of experience in Marketing; procurement experience is a plus.
* Experience in project management, tender organization, cost savings, contract management, and P2P best practices.
* Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience defining and reporting KPIs.
* Fluent in Italian and English.
* High professional ethics and integrity.
* Team player with problem-solving skills.
