About the Role
We are looking for an Internal Business Development Executive in our Networking Business Unit. The person will be responsible for developing the networking business, building excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive partner development and engagement, managing processes and vendor pricing, handling all quotes and closing orders.
Responsibilities
Proactively identify and qualify business opportunities.
Engage in active inside selling by using various sources to gather customer information.
Manage customer backorders and plan, report, and execute intelligent project fishing.
Manage projects end‑to‑end or hand them over to pre‑sales for technical requirements.
Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions.
Drive sales of specific products/vendors while sharing product knowledge with sales colleagues.
Generate and own a pipeline of deals in the company CRM system, regularly reviewing and updating it to ensure active closure of opportunities.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in IT and networking business in a similar role.
Knowledge of networking principles and IT industry basics.
Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills.
Aiming to achieve set sales targets.
Understanding of the sales process.
Fluency in Italian and English.
