The main activities for this Electrical/Harness Engineer role include:
* Supporting the system as an electrical and harness specialist to review requirements for Electrical I/Fs and Harness aspects and contributing to electrical architecture definition.
* Contributing to System Technical specifications, particularly Electrical and Harness interface requirements.
* Preparing and maintaining Harness specifications and Scope of Work (SoW) for harness manufacturing subcontractor selection.
* Supporting the selection, clarification, negotiation, and technical follow-up of harness manufacturing subcontractors.
* Supporting technical follow-up for electrical and harness topics with subcontractors, including specification preparation, document reviews, and participation in meetings.
* Preparing and maintaining the System Electrical schematic and electrical interconnection diagrams (EICD).
* Supporting stress and worst-case analyses of units.
* Participating in unit, subsystem, and system reviews and meetings.
* Processing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Requests for Work (RFWs) related to electrical and harness topics.
Qualifications include a degree in Electronics, Aerospace, or an equivalent field, with experience in electronic and electrical systems. Skills required:
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) and database management.
* Knowledge of engineering tools and software such as Matlab/Simulink, MathCad, Spice, Visual Basic.
* Fluent in English (mandatory), French (optional).
Availability for short to medium business trips in Italy or abroad is required.
