Data Center Manager, Data Center Operations

About The Role
As a Data Center Manager in ADSIPL, you will get to manage the world’s largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure in India. We encounter interesting, challenging & complex problems every day, being a technical manager in ADSIPL means that you can innovate to solve these issues and help drive Operations Excellence in all areas of your role.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and developing teams of engineers, providing both technical and leadership expertise and ensuring highest levels of performance.
* Maintaining existing co-located and in-house Data Centers.
* Helping build and bring online new Data Centers.
* Constantly improving all our processes and procedures.
* Assisting & managing relationships with external vendors & contractors.
* Liaising with internal teams & management groups.
* Ensuring we adhere to and exceed local Health & Safety standards in all our Data Centers.
* Creating and maintaining metrics on all aspects of our Data Centers and utilizing those metrics to drive positive changes.
* Assisting in implementing service methodologies including incident management, problem management, change management, capacity management, etc.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
* 4+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
* 3+ years of managing IT technical teams with significant personnel management experience and examples of developing engineers and building successful teams.
* Proven management of a team of at least 5 individuals over at least 3 years.
* Experience with Incident, Change, Fault management and leverages Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma principles.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety and ability to positively influence safety culture.
* Strong vendor management experience with external vendors, contractors and security companies.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent STEM field.
* 1+ years of Agile methods and processes experience.
* Experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar.
* Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma concepts.
* Experience implementing change management successfully transitioning programs into large-scale operations.
