Job Description Summary The Lead Testing Engineer, reporting to Avenza Gate 0 Leader, will be responsible for all the testing technical and fulfillment activities of Avenza LM Service Shop, linked to overhaul of LM25000 (derived from CF6-6) and LM6000 (derived from CF6-80).Job Description Essential Responsibilities Support Avenza Shop to manage testing activities performed in Massa, Kollsnes and in other approved test facilities as requiredReview commercial guarantees, test expectations/requirements, and develop performance test proceduresAnalyze data, evaluate test results, diagnose and define corrective actions as neededPrepare technical reports for internal and external distributionCommunicate with internal and external customers regarding testing activities, schedules, and technical issuesSupport continued development and improvement of performance tools/processesParticipation in Shop Operative Rhythm/reviews to support Avenza Shop according to production needsBe a technical reference point for Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis on final assembly and testing processes (Safety, Quality, Lean Production)Ensure a smooth introduction of new products/processes within Shop OperationsSupport new service development initiativesQualifications / Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or proven experience operating/testing Aeroderivative EnginesAbility to synthesize complex technical informationAbility to travel in support of global assignmentsAbility to interact with all levels of the organizationFluency in English and Italian is a mustDesired Characteristics Previous knowledge/experience of those engines would be a plus: LM2500, LM6000, LM9000, CF6-6, CF6-80, GE90-115BAbility to work in a very dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsBe a Solution-oriented, problem solverPrevious experience dealing with Customers would be a plusAdditional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No#J-18808-Ljbffr
