Role Purpose

As a member of Delegated Authority (DA) team in Operations, the Bordereaux Analyst will report to the Delegated Authorities (DA) Bordereaux Manager and assist with the production, analysis and end-to-end management of all bordereaux received or produced under ASR's delegated authority, binders, lineslips and inwards reinsurance arrangements. The role focuses on the high‐quality data, accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and timely distribution of the risk bordereaux. You will work closely with underwriting, claims, finance, credit control, actuarial, risk, compliance, brokers, coverholders, and capacity providers to maintain operational excellence and uphold ASR's DA data standards.

Key Responsibilities

Bordereaux Management & Processing

- Manage the end‐to‐end bordereaux lifecycle, including receipt, validation, cleansing, reconciliation, interpretation, and upload for risk bordereaux.

- Produce and maintain periodic binder bordereaux for onward distribution to capacity providers.

- Track, monitor and escalate late, missing, or poor‐quality bordereaux from coverholders or third parties.

- Review and challenge bordereaux for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with Lloyd's and company standards.

- Conduct data quality checks, exception reporting, and investigative follow‐up with stakeholders.

Analysis, Reporting & Management Information

- Analyse trends, variances, and anomalies within bordereaux data to support underwriting and operational decision‐making.

- Assist in the development and maintain MI dashboards and oversight reports for internal stakeholders and Delegated Authority governance forums.

Governance, Compliance & Documentation

- Support implementation and embedding of ASR's Delegated Authority governance framework.

- Ensure all delegated authority documentation are accurately stored and maintained.

- Check and correct data discrepancies in the Policy Administration System (PAS).

- Ensure adherence to FCA requirements, Lloyd's reporting standards, and internal policies.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Act as a focal point for bordereaux‐related queries internally and externally.

- Build strong working relationships with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Credit Control, Risk/Compliance, Capacity Providers, brokers, coverholders, and outsourcing partners.

- Attend regular meetings with outsourced processing partners and internal teams.

Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve bordereaux processes, controls, and data quality.

- Support optimisation of internal workflows, automation opportunities, and control enhancement.

Skills & Experience

Essential

- Experience working with Insurance bordereaux (risk, premium, claims) preferably within the Lloyd's and London Market.

- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‐solving skills.

- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.

- Ability to manage competing deadlines and deliver high‐quality outputs.

- Strong communication skills, able to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, cleansing, data manipulation).

- Working knowledge of delegated authority processes, binding authorities, lineslips, and relevant reporting expectations.

Desirable

- Experience with bordereaux management platforms and policy administrations systems (PAS).

- Working knowledge of Lloyd's reporting standards and DA governance.

- Experience with Power BI or other MI/visualisation tools.

- French speaking (advantageous for French‐speaking African markets).
