He/she supports the Plant Manager to define the logistics strategy of the Plant, ensures control of logistics processes, defines production planning according to the customer requests, managing the relation with the suppliers in order to guarantee the providing of material in line with the plans. He/she defines the strategy for the supply chain of materials and keeps monitored the material stock and the inventory in order to guarantee the timely supplying of the material. He/she manages the Bill of Material team.
Essential Responsabilities
•He/she supports the Plant Manager to define the logistics and productive strategy of the Plant;
•He/she is accountable for defining, optimizing and delivering the overall production shedule of the Plant, accordingly to the customer-plants requests;
•He/she oversees the production of finished goods (make to stock) and appropriate schedules for work over short, medium and long term planning horizons, integrating resource planning, materials, estimating and forecasting;
•He/she manages the supply chain of the Plant in alignment with the Procurement teams, keeps the contact with the suppliers in order to guarantee the timely supplying of the material, accordingly to the stock levels and productions schedules;
•He/She manages the shipment of finished products to customer plants, defining the best transport strategy in relation to time, means of transport and customer requirements; He/she manages the urgent freights request in order to meet the expectation of the customers;
•He/she defines the Inventory strategy of the Plant, keep monitored the materials stock in order optimize the cost and delivery. He/she manages the Cycle Count team defining the best strategy of the team and in alignment with the Company's requirements;
•He/she performs and engages with the cross functional team (Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Materials Management, Production, Test, Sales, Service), and provide production planning leadership as required;
•He/she assures monitoring, maintaining and updating computer records throughout all planning and moving materials' activities;
•He/She manages the Bill of Material team assuring the compliance with the internal procedures and keeps the contact with the Development engineer team in order to guarantees a timely, effective and reactive problem solving;
• He/she analyzes logistics KPIs in order to identify trend and propose corrective action and meet the expectations in terms of quality, profit, delivery and safety, promoting the lean production approach into the logistics areas;
•He/she works together with the Plant Manager in order to define the strategy related to the Logistics area and manages the assigned budget accordingly with it;
•He/she promotes development projects into the logistics areas in order to improve quality, safety, profit and delivery, and meet the customer expectation, and he/she manages the implementation of the approved projects;
•He/she develops team's members professional skills and evaluates their performances in accordance with the Company processes and tool;
•He/she works with the other managers in order to bring changes in the people's mindset aligned with the Company Culture, Cultural Beliefs and Focus Five;
•He/she promotes the Company accountability model inside his/her team.
Education
•Master Degree in Engineering or Culture equivalent. xjrgpwk
Background
•Good knowledge of production and logistics processes;
•Knowledge of Procurement;

•Knowledge of Lean productions system and tools;
•Computer skills.
