You will turn your findings into actionable recommendations that maximize customer impact. You will write detailed reports and communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. /p pA successful candidate is a self‑starter, comfortable with ambiguity, highly detail oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment. You will also coach and mentor junior scientists on the team, and communicate results effectively to diverse audiences. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul li5+ years of data scientist or similar role involving data extraction, analysis, statistical modeling and communication experience /li li5+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) /li liMaster's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science, or Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of data scientist or similar role involving data extraction, analysis, statistical modeling and communication experience /li liExperience with statistical models e.g. multinomial logistic regression /li liExperience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience managing data pipelines /li liExperience as a leader and mentor on a data science team /li liExperience working with scientists, economists, software developers, or product managers /li liExperience working with data engineers and business intelligence engineers collaboratively /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. /p pOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $143,300 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $247,600 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
