Overview
JD Sports Fashion, founded in 1981 with a single store in the northwest of England, is now a leading multi-channel retailer of sport fashion and outdoor in the UK and Europe.
The group has over 2,400 stores and offers customers the latest products from top brands.
Responsibilities
Open and close the store: merchandise setup, team briefing, and placing new items on display in the selling area.
Periodically monitor profitability through KPI tracking.
Participate in selling activities and maintain a high level of customer service.
Handle customer complaints efficiently and courteously.
Ensure good overall store presentation in collaboration with the Visual Merchandising team, including stock rotation and product density, highlighting new products and price variations.
Hold store keys and take full responsibility for managing merchandise and staff entering and leaving the store.
Actively participate in loss prevention and control, in collaboration with the Profit Protection Manager, through zoning, delivery checks, and regular/exception inventory audits.
Open and close the cash register and manage daily cash operations in preparation for monthly administrative closing.
Oversee cash collection, returns, and customer refunds.
Contribute to a clean, healthy work environment by maintaining cleanliness of common areas and sales/warehouse areas as needed for safety and cleanliness.
Requirements
Previous experience in structured retail outlets, preferably in dynamic and multinational contexts.
Good knowledge of the English language.
Leadership and good relational and communication skills.
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
