Location: Cerro al Lambro (MI), Italy (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: Tridon Europe is seeking a Junior Buyer, you will support the purchasing team in managing daily procurement and negotiation activities with suppliers. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that necessary materials and services are purchased in a timely manner and at the best quality-price ratio. Key Responsibilities: - Issuing and updating purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and following up with suppliers. - Collect and analyse supplier offers, comparing prices, quality, and delivery times to ensure the best choice. - Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing and potential suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery times. - Collaborate with Materials team to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent supply chain disruptions. - Prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities, analysing data to identify improvement and savings opportunities. - Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements, maintaining accurate records of all transactions. Key Requirements: - Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or in procurement activities. - Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and Italian, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse teams and suppliers - Team-oriented attitude and ability to work independently. - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. - Experience with ERP solutions, including MRP functionality - Analytical and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
