Position: Project Engineer – Esperienza Oil & Gas
Location: Province of Piacenza
For a multinational company leader in industrial automation and technological solutions for the energy, oil & gas, and manufacturing sectors, we are seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Designer to join the team at the Piacenza office. The company is characterized by an international and highly structured environment, focused on technological innovation and operational excellence.
Role Purpose
The selected resource will be responsible for the technical management of assigned projects, supporting the implementation of engineering solutions and ensuring coordination among various involved teams.
Main Responsibilities
1. Define and implement technical solutions in line with client needs and company standards.
2. Support the budgeting phase and define technical specifications of projects.
3. Coordinate testing and validation activities of implemented engineering solutions.
4. Interact with production departments to ensure effective execution of development and realization phases.
5. Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement in engineering.
6. Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations applicable to the industrial sector.
7. Prepare technical reports and documentation related to project progress.
8. Participate in technical meetings and internal training activities for ongoing updates.
Technical Project Management
1. Support the Project Manager in planning and executing project activities.
2. Supervise correct application of technical specifications and relevant regulations.
3. Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze technical requirements and define design solutions.
Team and Stakeholder Coordination
1. Interface with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progress.
2. Coordinate activities across engineering, production, and quality functions.
3. Participate in technical meetings and support problem resolution.
Quality Control and Documentation Management
1. Monitor quality and compliance of technical documentation.
2. Ensure adherence to sector regulations and company standards.
3. Participate in testing, commissioning, and plant startup activities.
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Chemical, or equivalent).
* At least 3-5 years of experience in technical roles within industrial contexts (Oil & Gas, Energy, Industrial Automation).
* Knowledge of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) processes and managing customized projects.
* Skills in modeling, simulation, and project management software (AutoCAD, SAP, Primavera P6).
* Excellent written and spoken English skills.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and complex project management abilities.
