The role is critical in delivering the roadmap of operational excellence in all aspects of the Sourcing function including supplier development, consolidation, performance management as well as significant gains in both productivity and working capital.
* This position may be located in: EMEA (remote-based with frequent travel to our Regional office in Dundee and other offices in EMEA)
Will report to Sr Director Operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE :
1. Work closely with the Director of Operations in Dundee, Bladel, Grentheville, ATG, LIQAL to develop sourcing strategies for the region;
2. Provide leadership for the European Sourcing team, including defining team structure, roles, assessing skills gaps, and creating personal development plans. Inspire a high-performance culture;
3. Identify sourcing opportunities and align goals to optimize safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity across the global supply base;
4. Engage in New Product Introduction activities, guiding projects from concept to market;
5. Develop relationships with Supply Chain and Sourcing leaders across DFS EMEA, understanding challenges and coordinating efforts for sourcing solutions such as high-value make/buy decisions;
6. Seek suppliers with innovative capabilities to enhance DFS offerings;
7. Lead initiatives for Value Engineering across DFS products;
8. Represent DFS EMEA on the Global Sourcing Steering committee;
