This position reports to the Head of Procurement Cost-Out – PL Care. You will drive full cost optimization for Procurement (incl. Capex) together with all Procurement colleagues related to your specific Architecture. It is a truly cross-functional role, where you steer the cost-out program together with colleagues in other Procurement teams, RD, Product Costing, and Product Line teams. The overall ambition is to optimize the product cost, leveraging all available procurement tools. /p pIn detail, you will: /p ul liDevelop deep product cost analysis and identify activities and related priorities, and represent Procurement on the cross functional team and own all related project deliverables /li liFollow insights on Product Cost development, areas of improvement in our Architectures and defining actions that needs to be conducted to reduce cost, including but not limited to product tear-downs, should-cost modelling, and identification of new Must-Win Models /li liAttend project review meetings and communicate relevant information within Procurement, ensuring all deliverables are achieved on time /li liTrack the project progress, sourcing status, and other relevant information through a data-driven sourcing tool. Specifically, track implementation of cost-out actions after Sourcing Board decision, ensuring timely execution and countermeasures should delays occur /li liInvolve internal stakeholders at early stage, aiming to create value through effective cost optimization projects /li liIdentify needs for Participate in Make vs Buy or Make vs Source analysis to optimize product and operation costs, and project manage the activities until the decision point /li liWork with the Category Management team to understand and deploy category strategy /li liSupport and coordinate RFQ’s, in cooperation with Category Management team /li liSupport preparations for Sourcing Board, in cooperation with Category Management team /li liSupport and coordinate supplier tooling quoting and ordering, in cooperation with Category Management team /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering and/or have specialties in project management, product costing, lean manufacturing or other relevant area /li liMore than 5 years of experience in relevant Procurement or project management roles /li liAbility to execute strategic initiatives that drive performance and have experience leading complex projects /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with diverse individuals in cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment /li liIt is beneficial if you have worked with Cost Modeling, Data Mining and possess advanced Excel skills with the ability to generate effective reports that manage large data sets /li liUnderstanding of lean manufacturing approaches and practical experience in driving lean manufacturing improvements is a plus /li liDemonstrate expectant, positive, proactive attitude and ‘can do’ spirit to drive change and can demonstrate a history of driving for higher business performance in a fast-paced environment /li liCapable of setting priorities, meeting deadlines with strong initiative and decision making, problem solving and analytical skills, with attention to details and accuracy /li liWilling to travel up to 25% of the time /li liFluent in English. /li /ul h3Where you’ll be /h3 pYou’ll be based in our Rayong Plant in Thailand and will be required to travel domestically and internationally. /p h3Benefits highlights /h3 ul liFive days work week /li liMedical Life Insurance /li liDiscounts on Electrolux products and services /li liShuttle Bus Service /li /ul pAs part of the Electrolux Group, we will continuously invest in you and your development.
