Our R&D; Department is the _Competence Centre_ for Bosch Vacuum Pumps and Electric Oil Pumps at a _Global level_.
Furthermore, the company produces engine Oil / Fuel pumps and hydraulic systems, respectively for passenger car / commercial vehicles and off highway vehicles.
VHIT employs about 500 people.
Job Description**
What will you take care of?** **To support the growth of the Company, VHIT Purchasing department is looking for a new motivated person to cover the role of **Commodity Buyer**. You will manage the commodity of e-parts;
**Help shape the future**:You will actively enhance the company growth;
**Observe and think ahead**:You will support the Purchasing Project Manager & Supplier Quality Manager (PPM+PMQ) during the new component development; You will define the BID list; You will manage RFQ; You will select suppliers according to the Total Cost Ownership analyses;
**Take Responsibility**: You will be key point of contact for any commercial, strategic communication and escalation with Supplier, incl. reporting to the Management in dedicating Committees; You will also take responsibility for the commodity or material field, including suppliers strategy and scouting, negotiation, business bundling, award, orders, contracts and supplier database management (SRM);
**Integrated implementation**:You will be in charge for Change Management ECR for purchased parts applicable for multiple project and management of the Engineering Change Requests and introduction of Design-to-Cost ideas for new or series projects (RPP)
Qualifications**
Education**:electronic, mechanical or automation engineering**;**
**Experience and Know How**:5 years of** **experience in the automotive industry or similar experience in large organizations and complex project environments;
**Technical knowledge:**:_ _**Basic knowledge of powertrain components; Basic understanding of the main automotive industry production processes; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project);
**Personality**: goal-orientation and self-driven with entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication and team working skills, proactivity and leadership;
**Language skills**:Fluent English;
**Interests**: Desire to growth within a complex manufacturing organization open to an international environment; enthusiast about innovation and digitalization.
