PpOn behalf of our client, an international manufacturing company operating in the specialty chemicals sector, we are looking for an /p bOPERATIONS MANAGER /b h3Purpose of the Role /h3 pReporting to the Site Director, the Operations Manager will be responsible for leading all day-to-day production activities at a regulated industrial site, ensuring compliance with Seveso III legislation and the company’s safety, quality and environmental standards. The position plays a key role in driving operational excellence, optimizing processes and costs, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement across the plant. /p h3Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with Seveso III and all relevant safety, environmental and quality regulations /li liDeliver planned production output while maintaining high standards of process reliability and product quality /li liCollaborate closely with Engineering and Maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and minimize downtime /li liCoordinate with Quality, Regulatory and Supply Chain teams to support audits, certifications and continuous improvement initiatives. /li liMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure cost-effective and sustainable production /li liDrive process optimization, cost control and performance improvement through Lean and Operational Excellence methodologies /li liSupport the introduction of new products and processes, ensuring readiness and compliance with operational standards /li liPromote a strong safety and performance culture by leading, coaching and motivating production teams /li liImplement company policies in accordance with national labor regulations and internal procedures /li liContribute to strategic improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives supporting business growth. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field /li li7–10 years of experience in operations management within a chemical or process manufacturing environment regulated under Seveso III (Directive 2012/18/EU) /li liProven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate cross-functional teams /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement /li liExcellent communication, influencing and organizational skills. /li liFluent in English and Italian. /li /ul h3Location /h3 pBased in the North-West of Italy. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
