About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to join our team in Spain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering process efficiency results and possess advanced Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the payroll processing cycle for a country or company depending on size and complexity
* Payroll balances and controls at input and output (Source to Gross, Gross to Net)
* Payroll accounting support
* Complex payroll queries & escalations
* Vendor operations management
* Point of contact for stakeholders (Benefits, Compensation, Stock Options, HR Services, Local HR, Recruitment, Accounting, Treasury and others)
* Projects: process improvement, country expansions, new payroll setup
A Day in the Life
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees. You will work closely with various stakeholders to resolve complex payroll queries and escalate issues as needed. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining high-quality payroll processing.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in Spanish Payroll
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details
- Experience with Spanish Labor Code, Taxation, Social Security System
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep knowledge of personal income tax legislation, labor law
- Familiar with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP software
- Experience with process transitions
- Sense of innovation
