OverviewJob Title: Junior Maintenance Support EngineerWithin Aircraft Maintenance Services Organization, we are looking for a Junior Maintenance Support Engineer for our main base of Cascina Costa.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and manage Work Orders received from Civil/Military Continuing Airworthiness Management Organizations of the Customers.Design, maintain and deploy the required Technical Documentation, based on the applicable Maintenance Data and IT tools in order to satisfy the Customer Work Orders to be executed by Aircraft Maintenance Operations.Provide technical engineering support to Aircraft Maintenance Operations during maintenance execution for both scheduled and unscheduled tasks.Act as a Project Manager during helicopter maintenance liaising with Maintenance Planning, Aircraft Maintenance Operations and Logistic Service Department to design and deploy the maintenance sequence required to execute the Work Order with the best turnaround time possible considering resources and logistics.Liaise with Aircraft Maintenance Operations and Logistic Service Department to monitor the progress of activities and enable a timely service delivery.Prepare and distribute Reports detailing progress status of the maintenance.Generate and distribute the additional instructions (e.g. Engineering Orders, Job Cards) needed to support complex maintenance execution, as per applicable regulations and procedures.Act as single interface towards Product Support Engineering Organization when additional maintenance data or clarifications are required from Design Organisation.The candidate will work in a team, supported by a Senior Maintenance Support Engineer.RequirementsTechnical skillsFirst Level Degree in Engineering or similar (First Level Degree can be replaced by at least 3 years experience on aeronautical field)Basic knowledge of project planning, monitoring and controlBasic knowledge of Civil and Military Aviation Regulations & StandardsBasic knowledge of Technical Publications in Maintenance Organization environment (understanding & use)Basic knowledge of Technical Drawing and Wiring Diagram (understanding)Basic knowledge of Helicopter Maintenance Program & Configuration ManagementType training (theoretical element) on Leonardo Helicopters' products and working experience in Rotorcraft Maintenance Organization environment (Civil & Military) will be considered a plus.Behavioral skillsGood attitude to teamworkAbility to work under pressure, sometimes with very demanding deadlinesFlexibility, proactivity, problem solving attitude.Linguistic skillsFluent in spoken and written EnglishIT skillsGood knowledge of Microsoft Office PackageSeniority:Primary Location:IT - Varese - Cascina CostaAdditional Locations:Contract Type:PermanentHybrid Working:
