Our approach ensures a swift journey, leading you hand in hand towards signing your next career step. /p h3WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR /h3 pJoin our client’s international team in Rome (Anagnina Area), supporting the FLEX mission’s Core Ground Segment within a major European space programme. /p pWe are looking for a Ground Segment Monitoring Technician with 2–3 years of experience in systems or service monitoring. You will support monitoring activities within the Ground Segment systems, detect issues, and ensure smooth data flow and operations. /p pFor this role, relocation to Rome is mandatory for candidates living far from the area. /p pA B2 level of English is required due to daily interactions with ESA teams and international stakeholders. /p h3YOUR TASKS /h3 ul liMonitor Ground Segment systems and services /li liDetect, analyze and respond to system alarms and anomalies /li liCheck system performance (data flow, completeness, latency) /li liSupport investigation of incidents and escalate when needed /li liMaintain operational logs and contribute to incident reporting /li liProduce regular operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly) /li liCollaborate with service management and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations /li liLiaise with ESA and Ground Segment partners when operational issues arise /li /ul h3YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE /h3 ul liMinimum 2–3 years of experience in systems monitoring or service monitoring /li liExperience working in operational IT environments /li liUnderstanding of monitoring tools and operational workflows /li liAbility to analyze issues and troubleshoot /li liGood knowledge of Linux /li liBasic shell scripting knowledge /li liGood English communication skills /li /ul pNice to have /p ul liFamiliarity with Docker /li liExperience in Earth Observation or Ground Segment environments /li /ul h3WHO YOU ARE /h3 ul liProactive and analytical /li liDetail-oriented /li liComfortable working in an operational environment /li liA team player with strong communication skills /li liAble to react calmly and effectively to operational issues /li /ul h3EXTRA INFORMATION /h3 pbLocation: /b Rome /p pbWork location: /b Hybrid - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote /p pbStart: /b Immediate /p pbEligibility: /b EU Citizens, or Non‑EU Citizens already based in the EU with a valid work permit /p pThis is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to European space missions, supporting Earth Observation platforms and large-scale scientific initiatives. /p pOnce we receive your CV, we will take the time to evaluate it carefully.
