Role Overview:
Accenture is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support Avanade ICEG & UAE. You will join the efficient and welcoming EME Legal Team, shaping and negotiating client agreements, guiding business stakeholders on legal and commercial risks, and suggesting mitigation strategies. You will assist Delivery and Business leadership in managing existing client contracts, requiring a solid understanding of legal obligations and principled negotiation skills. The role involves working on a wide range of matters, including contracting, administrative law, employment, compliance, entity management, intellectual property, privacy, disputes, litigation, marketing, and mergers and acquisitions. Our team collaborates seamlessly with Legal Teams across the Americas and APAC, emphasizing global problem-solving and teamwork.
You will have the flexibility to work remotely or from our Milan office to meet with the local legal team and contacts in person.
You will be part of the EME Legal team, which operates across twelve jurisdictions, emphasizing consistency and knowledge sharing within a supportive environment.
About you:
You are positive, committed, passionate about law and technology, and capable of inspiring others. You take ownership, adapt quickly to change, and excel at building relationships at all levels. You are curious and interested in understanding the business to drive performance.
In addition, you have:
* Strong academic credentials and admission to practice law in Italy.
* At least 5 years of experience as an attorney or legal counsel, with a minimum of 4 years in a corporate legal department (IT industry experience is a plus).
* Excellent judgment, prioritization, decision-making skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Ability to work independently, escalate issues promptly, and communicate legal advice practically in a business context.
* Superior communication skills, including active listening and integrating information from various sources.
* Proficiency in English; additional European languages or a second legal, business, or technical degree are advantageous.
