Global Marketing Communications Manager
Your role and responsibilities
As Marketing & Communications Manager for ABB Measurement & Analytics Division in Italy, you will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing and communication strategies and plans that help our business grow and enhance our brand recognition in the Italian market. This includes localized content creation, event planning and roll out of global campaigns as well as internal communications and employee engagement for our offices and factory in Italy. You will ensure executional excellence for all communications in line with brand positioning, corporate identity/design guidelines and global & regional strategies, serving our three Business Lines in Italy. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow as you will also work in a global team and a fast-growing business.

This role is contributing to the ABB Measurement & Analytics Division within the Process Automation Business Area in Italy
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
* Create and execute internal and external communication strategies and plans for the ABB Measurement & Analytics Division in Italy, in line with business strategy, corporate communications and brand positioning.
* Create, manage, and review programs, campaigns, stories, messages and materials supporting the global and local marketing and communications objectives
* Support and coordinate the local implementation and promotion of product launches. Manage and execute key events such as trade exhibitions, customer seminars/events.
* Coordinate, prepare and drive internal local communications. Plan, organize and host local townhalls together with the local management teamboth for our offices and factories
* Support the local management and the sales/service teams with communications and marketing materials (including presentations, speeches, articles, social media posts and employee recognition)
* Stimulating lead generation through advertising, sponsorship, and digital marketing and marketing automationcampaign to promote our solutions on the Italian market.
* Plan, create, and deliver engaging content for various channels, such as web, social media, email, newsletters, brochures, videos, etc., bringing along editing skills in video and graphics
* Monitor and analyze the performance and impact of marketing and communication activities, using metrics and feedback tools
Qualifications for the role
* University degree preferably in journalism, communication, marketing, or related field
* 5 years of experience in marketing and communications activities, with the ability to translate technical subjects into interesting stories.
* Strong writing, editing and spoken communications skills, with keen attention to detail are mandatory.
* Open-minded, autonomous self-starter and strong networker with an interest in technology and strategic thinking capability combined with creativity and a hands-on approach to translate strategies to actions and monitor and report on progress (KPIs)
* You are at ease communicating in English and Italian.
* Knowledge of office and creative programs, e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and SharePoint
* Flexibility to travel mainly in Italy
