What You’ll Be Doing Support engineering activities and projects in the manufacturing areas (equipment and systems innovation, sustaining and improvement). Analyze, identify and propose improvements to the code in Siemens S7 and other PLCs in our DryCart department to ensure more efficient and reliable operation of industrial automation systems. Provide hands-on experience in the preparation of user requirements and engage with suppliers for the design and commissioning of new equipment and systems. Support the qualification and validation processes in relation to the own area of expertise. Actively collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the correct functioning of systems, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance support. Cooperate with local and global IT teams for the delivery of IT solutions impacting manufacturing areas. Maintain an updated level of knowledge on industrial automation technologies, participating in training courses aimed at expanding your know-how. What You’ll Bring Degree in Automation, Electronics, Computing Engineering or similar disciplines is preferred. Experience in delivering automation solutions, including Siemens PLC programming (S7 platform), industrial network (EthernetIP, Profinet, Profibus) and HMI / SCADA System. Familiarity with the Tial Portal development environment. Knowledge of vision systems for quality inspection (e.g. Omron, Cognex and Keyence). Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively and solve complex technical problems. Orientation towards quality and safety at work, with attention to detail. Adaptability to evolving technologies and strong ability to partner with IT team for the successful rollout of new solutions for manufacturing. Good knowledge of English, spoken and written.
