Ph3SMS group is looking for a Supplier Qualification and Quality Assurance Senior Inspector for our Center of Excellence "Supply Chain Management". /h3h3Mission /h3pEnsure product and process quality compliance throughout the supply chain, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and contractual standards. This role involves overseeing supplier qualification, quality control, and documentation management, collaborating with Purchasing, Project Management, Expediting, and Shipping to ensure the final product meets customer expectations and company objectives. /ph3Activities /h3ulliConduct direct supplier inspections to verify technical and contractual compliance on machines. /liliEvaluate technical documents and product specifications to ensure quality throughout all phases of manufacturing. /liliUse measuring and testing instruments to monitor products and processes. /liliCollaborate with planning and project management functions via ERP systems (SAP). /liliMonitor and improve supplier quality performance. /liliPrepare and update quality control documentation for ongoing projects. /liliPerform technical acceptance and final equipment inspection activities. /liliMaintain detailed records of inspections, noting deviations or defects found to ensure traceability and quality control. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications Skills /h3pEducation: High school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., metallurgy, engineering) preferred. /ppExperience: Previous experience, 5+ years in quality inspection in steel mills, re-heating furnaces and melt shops industry. /ph3Technical Skills /h3ulliProficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, technical documents, and specifications. /liliSkilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs, hardness testers, etc.). /liliKnowledge of NDT methods (e.g., dye-penetrant and magnetic particle testing). /liliGood knowledge of welding inspections in accordance with UNIEN ISO 3834 and UNI EN 1090. /liliGood knowledge on assembly and testing on main mills machines (stands, shares, pinch rolls…) /li /ulh3Soft Skills /h3ulliExceptional attention to detail. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities. /liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaborating with diverse teams. /liliKnowledge of English language (level B2 / C1 or higher), both written and spoken. /liliAvailability for medium-term trips (60 days). /li /ulpCandidates of all genders may apply to the job posting or send their CV to /ppPersonal data will be processed in accordance with EU Regulation 2016 / 679.
