KWS Italia SpA is looking for a Station Technician for our site in Monselice. This is a full-time, permanent position .
Main tasks and responsibilities:
* Advise farmers or contractors responsible for managing agricultural activities such as soil preparation, fertilization, irrigation, pest control, etc., in the fields under your responsibility.
* General monitoring and supervision of production fields, including all evaluations required by breeders.
* Plan, organize, and oversee activities carried out by employees under your responsibility.
* Handle harvesting and transplanting.
* Prepare regular reports and presentations as requested by Management for activities under your responsibility.
* Support ad hoc activities as and when requested by Management.
* Ensure that all operational activities are carried out and that staff under your responsibility work in compliance with the company’s health and safety standards.
Key skills and required background:
* Residence in Monselice.
* Diploma or technical certificate in agriculture.
* At least 2 years of experience in agriculture, preferably in seed production.
* Knowledge of MS Office programs.
* Valid driving license.
* Valid forklift license (or ability to obtain one).
* Good knowledge of Italian and preferably English.
