As part of our multi-national team, you will manage all sourcing activities of parts, equipment, and materials: develop a sourcing strategy, continuously optimize cost, improve supplier performance, drive innovation and manage risk.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help locate and select electronic and electro-mechanical component suppliers
- Assist in the processing of contract costs
- Issue requests for quotes/proposals (RFQ/RFP) and select best source consistent with cost, quality and delivery requirements. Negotiate and manage long term pricing agreement on critical components
- Complete purchase requests with domestic and international suppliers by inputting purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and verifying all transactions.
- Handle correspondence concerning over-shipments, delivery shortages, changes in quantity, delivery dates, and prices and report such changes to the interested parties in a timely manner as require
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and involved departments to resolve procurement related problems
- Monitor supplier performance by ensuring that product is delivered as scheduled and meets specifications; maintaining appropriate files and records of meetings with suppliers to ensure company requirements are met and that supplier is aware of their performance
- Participate in new project design activities in order to assist in the selection of suppliers in agreement with product/project demands

**Required Skills**:

- 3+ years of procurement experience including purchasing, inventory control, contract negotiation, supply management, supplier relationships, basics of cost accounting and tracking budget expenses in the electronics sector
- BS/MS degree or High School diploma in Electronics, Business or a related technical field
- Strong oral and written skills also in English and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to act independently to determinate methods and procedures on new assignments
- Ability to respond consistently with a high degree of initiative to resolve issues or complex problems that may arise
- Efficient organization and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Availability to travel 15% of the time
