For our Plant in Sant’Angelo Dei Lombardi (AV), we are currently looking for a Quality Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for the correct application of the Product Food Safety & Quality Specification on production lines, based on guidelines defined by the Food Safety and Quality Group (FSQ) and other external organizations, to ensure that all manufactured products respect the standards for Quality and Food Safety. You will contribute to generating ideas for continuous improvement, implementing related actions and supporting employee training to achieve quality objectives. Main Responsibilities As a Plant Quality Specialist, you will lead a shift‑based team to ensure product compliance with Food Safety and Quality standards within the Production Unit, covering all stages from raw material reception through processing and finished product maturation. Your scope will include (but will not be limited to) all quality and food safety aspects defined in the Product Food Safety & Quality Specification, including CCPs, OPRPs and CPs, prevention of microbiological and chemical‑physical contamination, quality defects, and compliance with legal, packaging and organoleptic requirements. Working with your team you will oversee the execution of Food Safety and Quality self‑checks in the Production Unit, ensure accurate recording of relevant data, and manage issuance and updating of control instructions. You will coordinate the internal traceability team, ensuring robust and up‑to‑date capabilities to trace non‑conforming products throughout the supply chain and back to raw materials and packaging. The role also involves carrying out checks through extraordinary finished‑goods sampling and periodic audits in accordance with Military Standards. Your team will provide training and ongoing support to Production Unit workers. In addition, you will manage consumer complaints related to manufactured products, leading internal investigations and defining root cause analyses (RCA) and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans for the plant. Finally, you will lead the internal organoleptic panel, organizing periodic tasting sessions for finished products, semi‑finished products and raw materials. About You You must hold a Master’s degree in Food Technology, Biology, Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering. As a good communicator, you are fluent in English and Italian. You have a strong teamwork attitude, flexibility and capacity to work under pressure.
