Overview For one of our clients in the Turin area, we are looking for a HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) Test Engineer with experience in the development, configuration, and validation of complex systems. Responsibilities Install and configure HIL systems, communication interfaces, and peripherals. Configure and validate communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet). Perform hardware/software integration tests to verify the correct functionality of the test bench. Create and manage fault-injection configurations to simulate failures and test system robustness. Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to signals, communications, and HIL system performance. Requirements Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Science, or Automotive Engineering. At least 1–2 years of experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop. Hands-on experience with HIL systems (preferably dSPACE SCALEXIO, NI, Vector). Strong knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and real-time modeling. Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and Vector tools. Good programming skills in C and Python. Understanding of embedded systems and ECU architectures. Excellent knowledge of Italian and English. Willingness to travel when required.
