OverviewIn this role within Lonza's Security Operations Center, you protect sensitive data and systems by implementing and monitoring security controls. You assess vulnerabilities, make security recommendations, and implement changes to strengthen defenses. You will investigate incidents, monitor networks for threats, and drive next‐generation security technologies. You join a global, 24×7 team focused on timely incident response and continuous security improvement, aligned with Lonza's ethical, people‐centric mission.ResponsibilitiesHandle security incidents in a timely, prioritized mannerMaintain and configure SOC systems and toolingIdentify and document information security risks; propose mitigationsInvestigate and respond to security incidentsMonitor networks and systems for potential threatsResearch, design, and develop new information security controlsEvaluate and deploy next‐generation security technologiesManage solution development and deployment following best practicesParticipate in 24x7 follow-the-sun operationsStay up to date with technological developmentsQualificationsExtensive experience in Cyber Security, Security Incident ResponseHands‐on technical experience in at least one IT domainStrong technical capabilities across IT landscape and cloud computingAbility to create meaningful reports and manage stakeholdersCollaboration with internal teams and service providersHands‐on experience with security technologies (antivirus/EDR, IDP/IPS, firewalls, content filtering)
