Responsibilities
* Assisting with the delivery of safety performance and monitoring, in line with personnel, team and functional goals and objectives. Ensuring that WHS systems are kept accurate at all times, with completed incident reports, alongside all supporting documentation.
* Supporting the implementation of WHS programs within Operations, while delivering key risk assessment activities. Promoting compliance with local and EU legislation.
* Contributing to requests for improvement of on-site safety and positively impact accident trends.
* Manage your team on-site, whilst regularly collaborating with other teams across the company
* Use internal reporting tools to analyse data reports and root causes that provide leadership with the information they need to make safety related decisions
* Provide guidance and arrangements for health and safety projects and policies
* Drive programmes designed to improve the safety culture in Amazon
* Participating in the Safety Audit Programs.
* Arranging and conducting basic surveys and checks in the Delivery stations environment, looking into facility processes, Health and Safety supplies as well as employee behaviors.
* Flexibility to travel to support at different locations in Italy as needed (position requires maximum 50% travel time with on-site auditing responsibilities).

You could work on a variety of projects alongside colleagues from across the business, ranging from equipment and process inspections to assessing processes, building and equipment design.
Qualifications
* BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Education to a degree level and ASPP or RSPP certified
* Relevant experience managing a team
* Relevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation
* Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language
* PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologies
* Qualifications or experience in the field of sustainability
* Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
* Chartered membership of a Human Resources industry body (e.g., IOSH) to support people management
