Rachel Birthistle Events srl, also known as The Lake Como Wedding Planner, is a creative company organising, designing and producing events throughout Italy and Europe.
We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented and creative Event Planner to join our team at our office in Como where you will have the opportunity of managing every aspect of wedding planning – from the initial concept to the final execution – ensuring every event runs smoothly and reflects the unique vision of each couple.
Main responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand their vision, style preferences, and budget
- Plan, organize and manage all aspects of the wedding, including timelines and budgets
- Research, select and coordinate with trusted vendors
(venues, caterers, florists, photographers, entertainers, etc.)
- Work closely with our Design Team to develop designs and concepts tailored to each couple
- Supervise and coordinate the wedding day to ensure everything runs seamlessly
- Proactively handle any last-minute changes or unexpected issues
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and vendors throughout the planning
process
Key qualifications include:
- At least 3 years work experience in wedding or event planning
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with good problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of local wedding trends, venues and vendors in the Como area
- Proficiency in both Italian and English (written and spoken)
We're offering an initial fixed-term contract with the intention of it becoming a permanent contract.
Our offices are located in Como, Cernobbio and Maslianico.
