The Security Operations Manager will oversee the safety and security of client-occupied facilities across Italy. Responsibilities include managing access control, security systems, and physical security policies; conducting risk assessments; providing security training; and liaising with law enforcement and security agencies. This role involves managing incident responses, developing security strategies, and ensuring quality across security providers. Expertise in counter-terrorism and security intelligence is essential. Strong analytical and communication skills are crucial for integrating security operations across departments and locations to maintain a secure environment. Based at the client’s Milan HQ, the role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Responsibilities Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. Coordinate access management, security alarms, CCTV, and automated access control systems. Perform security inspections, implement counter-terrorist measures, assist in risk categorization, and identify security needs. Implement security policies, conduct compliance checks, and maintain security procedures documentation. Provide security awareness training and support incident reporting protocols. Establish communication with law enforcement, security agencies, and building management; coordinate security for client events. Report, escalate, and manage security incidents; participate in investigations. Ensure quality assurance for security providers and supervise security services. Evaluate security intelligence, produce reports, and analyze incidents. Coordinate security for special events, conduct travel risk assessments, and manage incident responses for travelers. Perform additional security or facilities tasks as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or related security management qualification, with 5-7 years of experience in security operations, manned guarding, physical security, and incident management within a corporate setting. Experience in crisis management, risk assessments, and liaising with law enforcement; proven ability to develop security policies. Flexible, motivated, capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder influence skills. Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Skilled in security management software and technology. Culturally aware and adaptable, especially within EMEA or international contexts.
