As an Operations Performance & Data Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring operational reliability and customer delivery by consolidating data, monitoring KPIs, and coordinating cross‑functional actions. You will act as a key interface between central functions and operational sites, driving performance visibility and supporting issue resolution, particularly in scenarios involving supplier delivery disruptions.

Typical Day
\n
Consolidate and validate operational data across multiple Wabtec sites, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
\n
Develop and maintain standardized reporting tools and dashboards (primarily in Excel) to monitor operational performance.
\n
Track, analyze, and follow up on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with business targets.
\n
Lead regular performance reviews with operational sites, ensuring accountability and timely execution of action plans.
\n
Prepare high‑quality presentations for senior stakeholders, translating complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
\n
Act as a central coordination point to support sites in resolving supplier‑related delivery issues impacting customer commitments.
\n
Drive structured follow‑up on critical operational topics, ensuring risks and deviations are proactively managed.
\n
Identify performance gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives across the network.
\n
Foster effective communication between operations, supply chain, procurement, and other relevant functions.
\n
Qualifications
\n
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
\n
Proven experience in operations, performance management, or data analysis within an industrial or transportation environment.
\n
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis tools).
\n
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
\n
Experience in KPI management and performance governance in a multi‑site environment.
\n
Proven ability to prepare and deliver executive‑level presentations.
\n
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions.
\n
Professional proficiency in English (and local language).
\n
High level of autonomy, ownership, and attention to detail.
\n
Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, matrix organization.
\n
Availability to travel occasionally.
\n
