LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, SICILY
Main purpose:
The Learning & Development Manager will deliver, implement, and evaluate corporate trainings & development programs to improve individuals, teams, and the organizational performance of our Villa Igiea in Palermo, Verdura Resort and Verdura Private Villas in Sciacca (AG).
Reports to: Area HR Director.
Main duties & responsibilities:
* Identifies training needs, design and deliver training & development initiatives according to training calendar shared and agreed with HR Director.
* Create relationships with manager, and other Team Members within the properties to better understand and respond to different needs.
* Support to HR Directors and Senior Managers on talent review, development and management.
* Produce training materials for frontal in-house courses when necessary or required.
* Support line managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups.
* Support and manage the Departmental Trainers’ development program.
* Assist in the creation, implementation and facilitation of the Hotel Training Plan and budget that is aligned with the hotel’s goals and strategic plan.
* Keep abreast of Guest feedback by monitoring and analysing quality data (e.g. Revinate and LQA results).
* Carry out all other reasonable requests in pursuit of continuous improvement.
* Ensure consistent compliance with operating standards and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain documents and records of all L&D activities.

Other requirements:
* A talent for delivering engaging classroom training for multiple target audiences and animating the Learning community.
* Fluent in English and Italian, both verbal and written.
* Coaching and mentoring skills.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Experience in delivering a variety of training material and understanding of different training methods and channels.
* Able to communicate ideas and instructions to staff at all levels in a clear and concise manner.
* Able to plan activities and respect deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Advanced or proficient level of Microsoft Office skills, Power Point and Excel in particular.
* Availability to travel within the Italian territory.
