Significant travel (greater than 70%) among this portfolio will be required. /b /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvides clinical expertise and support to community Directors of Health Wellness, Executive Directors, and care team members. This includes wellness activities, training and development of team members, and regulatory compliance issues. /li liConducts regular quality audits through site visits, audits of all health care areas to ensure compliance with Experience Senior Living standards and state regulations, appropriate resident assessments, charges, and placement, appropriate staffing, staff training, and quality assurance. Reports information to Health and Wellness Director, Executive Director. Regional Director of Operations, Vice President Health Wellness. /li liProvides clinical guidance to community staff, when necessary, to determine appropriateness for resident move-ins. /li liPromotes problem solving for meeting resident needs and utilizing community resources and support systems. /li liProvides guidance to Directors of Health Wellness and Executive Directors to identify providers of ancillary services and support. /li liEnsure partnerships with outside healthcare providers such as home health and therapy are effective in keeping residents at their highest functional level /li liParticipates in recruitment, hiring, training, and mentoring of Health and Wellness Directors. /li liAnalyzes resident and medication incident reports with Regional Director of Operations; assesses trends and assists with process improvement plans, with input from the Vice President Health Wellness, as appropriate. /li liParticipates in process improvement initiatives as directed by the Divisional Director of Health Services and Quality or regional management. /li liAnalyzes various healthcare reports, trends, and move-outs to assist the Regional Director of Operations in process improvement efforts. /li liProvide support and guidance to Directors of Health Wellness to execute tasks necessary to implement and meet operational, clinical and sales objectives. /li liEnsure the resident care department is always "survey ready". /li liEnsure 24-hour availability as a nursing administration resource during emergency situations in assigned communities. /li liEducate associates regarding commitment to all laws, regulations, and guidelines of the state and federal government. /li liUnderstanding of and experience with the assessment, documentation, medication management, scheduling, labor management, care planning and marketing components of healthcare operations within the senior living industry. /li liRespond to community needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through on-call availability or delegation. /li liPerform essential functions of Director of Health Wellness and/or Executive Director if a vacancy occurs within region. /li liProvide support and guidance to Directors of Health Wellness to execute tasks necessary to implement and meet operational, clinical and sales objectives. /li liSupervise development of in-service education programs designed to equip care staff with sufficient knowledge and skills to provide nursing and nursing related services to each resident. /li liMonitor and coach on how and when to conduct resident assessments and care plans, how to evaluate residents' responses to interventions and effective documentation in clinical records, including electronic MARS, to ensure compliance with state requirements. /li liEnsure that all associates are familiar with the infection control program designed to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment, while preventing the development and transmission of disease and infection. /li liReview infection control reports to identify trends and to develop effective actions to control and prevent infections. /li liReview monthly wellness checks, incident reports and fall risk/management programs to ensure clinical excellence in caring for residents during routine community visits. /li liWork collaboratively with Director of Health Wellness and Executive Directors in designated communities with concerns/issues as they arise with residents, families, team members, medical staff, clinical staff, and community leadership team. levels. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liGraduate of an accredited school of nursing - An RN license is required. /li liTwo years of professional nursing experience in an assisted living setting preferred. /li liThree years of experience in a leadership role within healthcare operations or comparable management experience required. /li liCurrent active license as a Nurse in each state he/she is assigned. /li liAn Administrator license or ability to obtain, if applicable, for the state(s) of assigned communities within region. /li liAppearance is neat, clean, and according to dress code. /li liAble to demonstrate a high level of service delivery; does what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction; deals with service failures and prioritizes customer needs. /li liAble to clearly present information through the spoken word; reads and interprets complex information;
