Our recruiting division is currently looking on behalf of one of our clients for a Data Scientist (junior, middle, senior). /ppWork mode: On-site 5/5 – Castelli Romani (Rome area). /ph3SCOPE OF THE POSITION /h3pThe goal of the position is to support the development of advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions that transform business data into predictive insights and actionable recommendations. The Data Scientist will contribute to the design and implementation of machine learning models, selecting the most appropriate algorithms and approaches based on business needs and data availability. The role will work closely with Business Data Analytics, IT and other business departments to enable data-driven decision-making and enhance the company’s analytical capabilities. /ph3POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION /h3pReports to: IT Systems Integration Department. Works with: Business Data Analytics Team, IT Department, ERP Team, Sales, Service Marketing, Finance, Production Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering. /ph3ACTIVITIES /h3ulliAnalyze business problems and translate them into data science use cases. /liliExplore and understand data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, IoT, production systems, external data). /liliDesign, develop, and validate machine learning models. /liliSelect and compare different AI/ML models to identify the most effective solution. /liliDevelop and test models. /liliCollaborate with Data Engineers to integrate models into production. /liliSupport deployment and monitoring of models. /liliMaintain documentation. /li /ulh3REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES /h3ulliUniversity degree in STEM disciplines (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar). /liliExperience in Data Science / Machine Learning projects. /liliExperience with real datasets and business problems. /liliFluent English. /liliKnowledge of regression, classification, clustering, time series. /liliModel selection and tuning. /liliModel evaluation and performance metrics. /liliProblem framing, EDA, feature engineering, modeling, validation. /liliScikit-learn. /liliGenerative AI and LLMs awareness. /liliBasic knowledge of pipelines and cloud (AWS/Azure) and BI tools. /li /ulh3TYPE OF COLLABORATION /h3pFreelance contract / VAT registered consultant. Full-time workload.
