Air Freight Import Operations Clerk carries out all the activities and operations foreseen in the Airfreight department for inbound shipments, providing an excellent customer service, in compliance with UPS standards and procedure.
Responsibilities
* Contact with consignees and local customers as well as network offices to coordinate shipments import
* Reception and / or transmission of shipping instructions
* Contact with international carries for arrivals and EU inbounding
* Provide customs clearance instruction to customs broker
* Data entry into E2K System according to KPI standard procedure
* Arrange deliveries with UPS authorized ground carriers
* Rates set up checks into systems and invoicing as per Pricing Agreement / One Day Quote received by BD / Pricing Team
* Post shipment problem solving (credit notes, customs issues, etc.) by shipping instructions check and Team Leader support
* Fill in claims standard form as per claim procedure for further sending to claim department
Qualifications
* High school graduate or Bachelor degree
* Even basic experience in Air freight industry
* IATA regulations, Incoterms and ENAC security regulations minimum knowledge
* Ability to meet high volume and quality service commitments for multiple clients
* time management : able to prioritize and work under pressure
* Problem solver
* Team work attitude
* Language skills to get in touch with customers and UPS network at all levels
* English as a must

Data Quality
We have KPIs set up, measured weekly, monthly and yearly, that must be complied in our daily job :
* Shipments End-to-End transit time
* Shipment door-to-door milestones on FGV
* Invoices on time release
