You will be responsible for the weekly forecast update on 18-months horizon, with the aim of assuring the optimal demand planning accuracy, customer service level and optimal stock cover. Furthermore, you will be involved in continuous improvement projects, having the opportunity to lead the project development, suggest initiatives and guide all the stakeholders to through the project scope. /p h3A day in the life of a Demand Planner /h3 ul liDevelop, maintain and improve a consolidated Demand Plan at SKU level and on daily basis for a portfolio of products, which represents the most realistic estimate of customer/ channel demand, through projection of the most realistic demand estimate, managing exceptions to enhance the responsiveness of the supply in fulfilling market demand /li liDetermining key issues with volume variance that may impact supply and highlighting them to production and distribution planners by challenging existing logistics and supply planning processes and tools /li liEnsure the alignment of the demand plan with internal and external partners through Monthly Business Planning (MBP) and collaborative planning processes /li liIdentify and manage exceptions and monitor performance to continually improve the quality and reliability of the demand plan and the Company’s ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances /li liAnalyzing and effectively communicating relevant information with the direct producing factory and affiliate supply teams, highlighting all supply issues to the sales and commercial team /li liActive involvement in Monthly Business Process and supply chain practices to have finished goods available at the right stock location with the freshness requested. /li /ul h3What will make you successful /h3 ul liAt least 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain or Commercial Development/Sales /li liHaving operations experience in at least one of the following areas is considered a plus: ul liProduction Planning /li liDemand Supply Planning /li liDistribution Planning /li /ul /li liAnalytical mindset and attention to details /li liSupply Chain Planning interest, with a determined and proactive approach /li liStrong Excel knowledge – SAP, Power Query and Power BI knowledge is a plus /li liStrong communication skills and high service orientation level /li liFluent in both Italian and English /li /ul pWe are Nestlé.
