The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality legal support to the Legal Department manager' focusing on operational legal activities that strengthen the Group's corporate and commercial framework' with particular emphasis on corporate transactions' governance' and international contracts.
The position is designed for an in-house counsel able to operate with autonomy and agility' demonstrating quick learning ability' flexible and strategic thinking' curiosity' and a proactive approach. The role requires continuous interaction with senior management' external partners' and key business functions (Finance' Operations' Logistics' etc.).
The geographical scope of the role is primarily Switzerland and Europe' with potential exposure to other regions such as the Middle East and Asia.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
- Support the Legal Department manager and oversee corporate matters across Europe and globally' including company incorporations' statutory amendments' board and shareholder resolutions' intercompany agreements and regulatory filings.
- Participate in meetings and conferences with the legal team to discuss ongoing cases' legal issues' and strategic approaches.
- Draft' review' and contribute to the development of legal documentation' contracts' agreements' and other related documents' including commercial agreements.
- Collaborate with external counsels and internal departments to provide timely and accurate legal advice on matters impacting the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law. Swiss lawyers will be a plus' but not mandatory
- 2/3 years of professional experience in leading international law firms or in-house legal departments of multinational companies.
- Good written and spoken Italian and English. Any other language will be considered a plus.
- Good judgment' proven responsibility and strong analytical skills.
- Must possess capability of working in team' be well organized' self-motivated' focused on meeting deadlines' flexible and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment
- Good oral and written communication skills with both internal and external
- Good User of MS Office Package
