Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Your missions
* Manage, maintain, and optimize cloud-based databases (Azure & AWS) for client projects.
* Ensure data availability, integrity, and security across multiple environments.
* Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to guarantee business continuity.
* Monitor and resolve database performance issues, optimizing SQL queries and processes.
* Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient application integration.
* Implement and manage user access, permissions, and data security policies.
* Stay updated on compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and ensure adherence.
* Provide technical expertise and support to client teams on database best practices.
Your profile
* Proven experience with MySQL, Microsoft Azure (Azure SQL Database, Managed Instance, Data Factory), and Amazon Web Services (Amazon RDS, Aurora, Lambda, Glue, CloudWatch).
* Strong skills in SQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
* Experience implementing data security policies and compliance standards.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
* 4-6 years of experience as a Database Administrator in cloud environments.
* Fluent Italian (mother tongue) and good English; other languages are a plus.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Eagerness to learn and stay updated on new technologies.
