We're looking for an exceptional Chief Technology Officer to lead our technical vision and drive innovation across our digital health platform.
About the Role
As our CTO, you will be responsible for:
* Defining and executing our technical strategy and architecture vision
* Leading and mentoring our engineering team
* Making critical decisions on technology stack, infrastructure, and scalability
* Translating business requirements into robust technical solutions
* Establishing best practices, standards, and governance across development teams
* Balancing hands-on coding with strategic leadership
Required Experience
* 12+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in technical leadership or architecture roles
* Deep expertise in full-stack development (frontend and backend technologies)
* Proven ability to design and implement complex, scalable systems
Strong foundation in core technologies:
* Backend
:, Java, or similar enterprise frameworks (NestJS, SpringBoot)
* Frontend
: React, Angular, or equivalent modern frameworks
* Databases
: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
* DevOps & Infrastructure
: Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms
* Version Control
: Git and modern development workflows
Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is a strong plus
Fluent English (written and spoken);
Italian is a plus
Nice to Have
* Experience with AI/ML integration and large language models (LLMs)
* Data science capabilities (Python, pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
* Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools (ELK stack, etc.)
* Agile/Scrum methodology and project management tools
* Open source contributions or technical thought leadership
