The role also involves developing small internal tools. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pbSecurity /b /p ul liKnowledge of DLP solutions, how they work, how to evaluate and deploy them /li liUnderstanding of EDR/XDR platforms and endpoint hardening strategies /li liNetwork security architecture: segmentation, VLANs, IDS/IPS, zero-trust concepts /li liVulnerability assessment methodology and tools (Nessus, OpenVAS, or similar) /li liIncident response logic: triage, containment, root cause analysis /li liAwareness of SIEM platforms and centralized log correlation /li liFirewall rule logic and policy design (Fortinet, Huawei, Zyxel) /li /ul pbDevelopment /b /p ul liPHP and databases for small internal web applications /li liIntegration with Active Directory, REST APIs, and databases /li liUnderstanding of authentication flows (SSO, LDAP, OAuth) /li li.NET (ASP.NET Core / Blazor) is a plus /li /ul pbGeneral /b /p ul liPowerShell and/or Python scripting for automation /li liWindows Server /li li2-4 years in roles mixing security with infrastructure or development /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liSecurity certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, FortiNSE) /li liVMware or Docker exposure /li liModern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) /li /ul h3What matters most /h3 pCuriosity, initiative, and drive.
