Job Title: RESPONSABILE CONTROLLO AMBIENTALE INFRASTRUTTURE FERROVIARIE Company Description Our client is a consortium in the Railway Infrastructure sector, based in Ancona. We are seeking a qualified candidate for the following position: Position The candidate will ensure that all activities related to the construction and maintenance of railway works comply with current environmental regulations and minimize environmental impact at the site, reporting directly to the VHSE Manager. Responsibilities Support the implementation of environmental surveillance in accordance with the Integrated Management System; Draft and update the Environmental Analysis and the Environmental Control Plans (PCA) for the project; Define training and mentoring needs for personnel involved in environmental control; Assist third-party companies in identifying significant environmental aspects of their activities and preparing system documentation in compliance with the project's Environmental Management System; Review documentation prepared by third-party companies and liaise with the Environmental Management System Manager (RSGA); Organize initial and coordination meetings related to environmental issues for both direct and third-party activities; Plan and implement environmental surveillance based on the organization, type of intervention, detailed work program, external environment, and contractual requirements; Monitor environmental surveillance activities in relation to work progress or contractual changes; Coordinate Environmental Inspectors (ICA); Conduct audits on the Environmental Management System and analyze environmental non-conformities, implementing corrective actions; Draft specific and periodic environmental reports; Interface with the RSGA, Project Manager, and Site Manager regarding environmental issues and relations with local and external authorities concerning environmental protection and management. Requirements We seek candidates with at least 4 years of solid experience in similar roles within the infrastructure sector. A degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields is required. Knowledge of national and international environmental regulations and proficiency with Microsoft Office are also necessary. Additional Information We offer direct employment, with salary and level commensurate with experience. Work location: Province of Ancona, Frasassi area. Working hours: 9 am - 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
