**Job Purpose**
The Sales Leader is responsible for achieving sales revenue and margin for the sales team and contribute to the organic growth of the organization.
The Sales Leader primary oversees the sales team and assists the Customer Development Managers with sales strategy development and implementation. This includes developing sales plans that ensure the growth at current customers and expand the customer base.
In addition, the Sales Leader is personally involved in the close follow up of the Key Accounts.
**Job Position**
The Sales Leader reports directly to the Commercial Director Food.
**Responsibilities**:
- Management_
- Lead and inspire the team to strengthen their skills and abilities to improve personal and selling performance.
- Set sales targets and motivate sales team.
- Facilitate good teamwork and cooperation.
- Responsible for quality and development of Customer Development Management.
- Recruit, train, and coach the sales team including joined visits at customers.
- Sales management_
- Develop and implement a sales plan for the team.
- Develop accurate account planning to insure growth at key/strategic customer.
- Implement pricing strategy in line with defined guidance and company policy.
- Insure achievement of visit targets and meeting report in due time.
- Inspire and insure the use of CRM tool.
- Identify and lead the development of new business opportunities.
- Share market insight, indicators and trends with the relevant Product Manager and team.
- Provide to management business information and data analysis in due time.
- Insure back up by acting carrying out sales activities like those of the Customer Development Manager (See job description Customer Development Manager).

- Material Margin (MM), Sales Revenue and Volume
- MM / Sales revenue growth customers (%)
- Number of new customers
- Extension % share of wallet customers
- Number of new business opportunities and generation

- +10 years relevant professional management experience
