We at Shimano Italy are looking for an account support associate to join our team. This role requires you to provide support to your team and deal with customers. You should be a team player with exceptional people skills, comfortable multitasking, proactive, focused, and persistent.
The Challenge
* Treat and process all incoming orders, and adjust where needed, in line with customer requirements and quality standards to maintain a well‑organized, up‑to‑date order file.
* File all order‑related information to enable tracking of required, updated information at any time.
* Coordinate and disseminate all order information for all parties involved so that correct, updated order information is available at all times.
* Act as a link between customers and sales teams to maximize responsiveness, share key information, and support sales goals.
* Signal any issues in the process and propose improvements to help optimize the account support process.
* Receive and process customer inquiries or complaints as the first line of support and then escalated where necessary.
Who we are looking for
* Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Clear communicator with excellent written and verbal communication in Italian and English.
* Maintains accurate records and is skilled at managing data.
* Computer skills – Microsoft Office, CRM & ERP systems, SAP is a plus.
* Contract length: 1 year (till the beginning of May 2027).
