In this key role, you will be accountable for delivering security as a service to a cluster of operational sites across the end-to-end supply chain to protect our people and prevent loss. Key job responsibilities Be accountable for Security & Loss Prevention performance within your cluster. Manage a team of Security and Loss Prevention professionals providing security as a service to operational sites within your geographical area of responsibility. Ensure site compliance, conduct regular site audits, and maintain the physical security posture of sites within your cluster. Manage relevant risks within your cluster, including prevention, intervention, and investigation. Engage with senior management within your cluster to foster positive relationships, understand support opportunities, and provide security risk guidance. A day in the life As a Cluster Loss Prevention Manager, you will oversee a team providing security services across Amazon's supply chain sites within your designated geographical area. You will be responsible for the performance of security and loss prevention efforts within your cluster, managing daily operations, prioritizing workload, and assessing risks to meet service level agreements with internal customers. You will coach your team, providing guidance through prevention, intervention, and investigation processes. While your team handles daily operational activities, you will take ownership of complex problems. You will work to identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks, sharing insights and best practices across the organization. You will also ensure site compliance, conduct audits, manage budgets for external service providers, and oversee recruitment for your team. Engaging with senior management, you will provide security risk guidance and support. About the team Sitting within the Global Security Operations organization, Security and Loss Prevention aims to protect Amazon’s business targets and brand by managing security and loss prevention risks that could: Endanger our associates and customers Disrupt business operations Damage assets We work with stakeholders to secure the supply chain, prevent risks, intervene in incidents, and investigate to eliminate root causes, thereby minimizing negative impacts. Qualifications include: An advanced degree, equivalent, or industry certification Experience with physical security systems, investigation techniques, or managing contract security officers Experience in retail, warehouse, distribution, delivery, or supply chain sectors Strong business writing and communication skills with senior stakeholders Driver’s license J-18808-Ljbffr
